Can gas medicine be consumed throughout the year?
Burning of acid is called gastric. The drug groups on the market are
omiprazole, pantoprazole, isomiprazole, lansoprazole, rabiprazole, and the more
recent vonoprazone. These medicines have brought revolutionary changes in the
acidity of the stomach. However, this drug is most likely to be abused. We take
this medicine for no reason at all. But it can be very dangerous.
Risk?
Prolonged use of the drug can lead to
various complications. Such as –
Pneumonia: This medicine changes the acidic
environment of the stomach. This facilitates the growth of bacteria. A
particularly favorable environment is created for a type of bacteria called
Helicobacter pylori. These germs travel from the stomach to the lungs. As a
result, the incidence of pneumonia increases.
Cell swelling: This medicine increases the amount of
an enzyme called gastrin (biocatalyst). As a result, the acid level rises
again. For a long time, a type of cell becomes inflamed due to the effect of an
enzyme called gastrin. Over time, it can develop into cancer.
Bone loss: Taking gastric medicines impairs the
absorption of calcium in the intestines. One study found that taking omeprazole
for two weeks reduced calcium absorption in the intestines by up to 41 percent.
This increases the risk of bone loss. If this continues for a long time, the
bone will break.
Biting the flesh: Taking gastric medicines for a long
time reduces the amount of magnesium in the blood. Absence of it leads to
muscle pain, weakness, tachycardia, convulsions, increased blood pressure.
Nervousness: Long-term use of this medication can
cause a deficiency in vitamin B-12. A lack of it can lead to anemia and anemia.
This problem is especially common in the elderly. Scientists have long found a
link between the drug and dementia.
Kidney disease: Acute interstitial nephritis is a
serious kidney disease. The disease can start within 18 months of taking this
medicine. It can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea and abdominal pain.
