Google announces new AI features
Gemini Chatbots to write message drafts in Google Messages app: Google
At the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Spain, Google announced new benefits of artificial intelligence (AI) technology for smartphones, cars and wearables. With these new features, Gemini can be used in the Google Messages app and the essence of the message received with AI in Android Auto can be written.
In an announcement made at the MWC, Google said that the draft of the message can be written with the help of Gemini Chatbot in the Google Messages app. In addition, Gemini will help you write messages in the Google Messages app according to the meeting schedule of Gmail and Google Calendar. The feature is being rolled out to the Google Messages app from this week. The feature is currently available in the beta version and only in English. In addition to the Google Messages app, Google is also bringing artificial AI to Android Auto for cars. As a result, the AI will show the essence of the message that comes on the go when Android Auto is connected to the car's infotainment unit. The AI will even help in replying to messages.
Apart from this, captions can be written automatically with the help of AI in Google's Lookout App. This will make it easier to create audio content. In addition, Google is now working to open Google's Circle to Search feature to other Android devices in addition to Samsung's Galaxy S24 series.
Handwritten notes can be entered into Google Docs from an Android smartphone or tablet. Different pens and colors can be used to mark a part of a document.
Google has also announced to bring AI updates to WearOS. Google Wallet passes such as boarding passes, event tickets, gym membership cards and loyalty cards can now be accessed directly on the smart watch. Guidance can also be seen using voice.
